POSTPONED Bromley Pageant of Motoring - 21st June 2020

Hi everyone

The Bromley Pageant of Motoring is an annual event held in Norman Park, Bromley, Kent. Many different car clubs/groups exhibit their cars and there's also all the usual paraphernalia such as food stalls and all the rest.

This year, the event is 21st June.

I've not owned my Z4 long but I'm keen to do more with it. Are there many other people in Kent, Greater London, Surrey, or other surrounding areas perhaps who may be interested in taking our cars to the Bromley Pageant of Motoring? I suspect the proper Z4 Owner's Club may do this but I'm not part of that and don't see why it should cost £45 to join. If there's enough of us on here interested, we could register our own group/club with the event and set up at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring.

Hi George! That would have been great, but I’ll be driving down to the Italian Lakes the week before for 12 days. Jembo and I are in Kent, so not far away. Which Z4 are you in possession of?
 
Ah that sounds amazing! Take a good camera, we'll all be awaiting photos of your Z4 with an awesome backdrop.

Mine is a 2007 E85 2.5si in dark blue. What's yours?
 
Hi George, this sounds good, it's pretty local to me and i've not been before. If you don't manage to get a club spot, then i'll just get one of the 'one make parking' tickets. Tommy
 
Proper Z4 owners club? I assume you are talking about BMWCCGB (BMW Car Club GB)

We've attended a number of events under the Z4-forum guise even though BMWCCGB have also been in attendance. TBH we have far more members and the forum is much more active than theirs is so not a worry.

I've never been, but there are a number of us from Kent/Sussex/Essex so worth trying to put something together.

Alright great, well hopefully this grows in interest and we can all rock up in our Z4's :driving: 8)
 
Shame that it clashes with the Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble on the 21 June. At the one earlier this month there were seven Z4 Coupes (excluding mine which sat at home as I went in my '66 Volvo 1800S) Heading there in the Coupe in Summer.

There's now 5 of us and 11 or 12 maybes.
I'll begin thinking about where we can meet up to drive in in convoy for those who are up for that.
I'll be sending some messages to see what neck of the woods everyone will be coming from to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

I've booked a club stand for us, so the ticket everyone needs is a club ticket.

The organisers of Bromley Pageant of Motoring have now postponed the event until Sunday 13th June 2021. All tickets already purchased are automatically valid for the event next year.

Next year around the same time, I'll make a new thread for this event and list who has already got their tickets.
