A bit random i know.

I need to post some alloy wheels & tyres (together as they are on the alloys), i have had a quick look on parcelforces website as well as UPS, the prices are stupidly high! .....looked at dhl but cant seem to locate a price online. Typical of dhl really, total crap.

Anybody recently sent any ? if so, who are the cheapest people to use ?.

Seen on ebay these couriers that offer the service, anybody used them and are they reliable ?

Thanks in advance. :D

When I've sold stuff on eBay, I used these guys. Sent some tyres once but not tyres and wheels. From the sheer weight and size its inevitable it will be quite expensive (~£30+ I guess).

Used the Ebay couriers many times. Actually I think most of them are just booking agents for bigger national companies.

The cheapest offer a slower service, but that said one picked up on the South Coast 5.00pm and delivered 8.30am next day.

Never had a problem in shifting several sets to and from my home.

I used interparcel twice once for a single wheel and tyre which cost £8, they collect from the doorstep yours or a third party, and deliver where you want using your choice of carrier from their list

Much cheaper than Parcel Farce and they take larger items which is why I used them in the first place, and would always be my first choice.

Cheers guys. i ended up using the people 'biffa' suggested parcel2go.com. Booked it on the tinternet this morning, and dhl collected them by lunchtime. Brilliant.alloys with tyres - £34.00. The original prices i got from the web were over £100.00. :o
