Big IOW win this week just 3 miles away unfortunately not me

Is the Post Code Lottery genuine and worth having a go ? Must be better odds than the National - chances of lightning striking twice are remote but odds must be the same for all postcodes . someone local here won over £600k ( they had 2 tickets ) another £300k and many others £17k - must be worth a punt at £10 a month ?
