Post your Zed picture of the day...

6th stage round tour: Jausiers, Col de Restefond, Col de la Bonette, Isola 2000, Col de la Lombarde, Colle della Madallena back to Jausiers. Such a great day! The most beautiful and impressive tour so far. Thankfully we ignored the 'Fermé' sign at Bonette, our landlord said it was open ;)

7th stage from Jausiers to St-Martin-Visubie via the Col de la Cayolle and Col de Valberg. Another very nice route. On the way we were able to visit an old Maginot Line bunker from 1920. The Italians were expected to cross the Col de Lombarde, but never did.

Thank you very much, but I'm not :o
Perhaps I have an eye for the situation. It's only a Samsung telephone 8)

[ref]crz4[/ref], Either way, I think you have talent ☺️👍 definitely have an eye for visual storytelling!
My hat's off to you good sir!

Can you please give a review of places/hotels/etc that you have stayed at so that others can possibly use them when doing the same trip .

8th and final stage from St-Martin-Visubie to Apricale in Italy via the Col de Turini and other small and tiny roads. The last day of a dream route was again very beautiful. We drove a total of two hours with the roof closed from Lake Geneva to Apricale because it was raining. Otherwise always open, sometimes with a hat and my wife with a thick jacket.

And one photo past the Zed, the famous Krn mountain, known from WW1, the Isonzo front. Krn is the far left (triangle shaped) highest peak in the picture. The long peak on its right is Batognica. This one is known for explosion of ~4 tons of TNT inside a tunnel under the top of the mountain during the WW1. Some say the mountain top lowered for a few meters after the explosion.
