In your second photo TomK there appears to be 2 Ferrari 156 Sharknose F1 cars :o Also appears to be a camera car in front of them. All the original 156s were scrapped on Enzos orders so none in existence. I know Chris Rea had a replica built a few years ago. So who was driving them etc ? :?

Are they NS2Rs? If so, do you daily drive on them?

Pretty sure AR1's Dan. If you're looking at NS2R's though I'd give them a try, for the price point seem like a good tyre from what I've heard.

Yeah I've been thinking about it as I just (finally) wrecked my front tyres at Blyton (will do a post on this shortly on my thread). Have been totting up the options and NS2R is one of them. I do have to keep in mind that I daily this car throughout winter and I don't think any semi slicks will be great in the snow! :P

Good spot. They are indeed, during the lunch hour when the track was closed to us Sky filmed (I assume) an upcoming segment for their F1 channel. Messrs Brundle and Hill driving no less. It was great to see/hear them circulate even if they weren't going completely harry flatters. I believe it was these cars https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/archive/article/june-2021/72/resurrecting-the-sharknose-ferrari-156

Some other royalty stuff there for the rest of the trackday too

No AR-1. Love the idea that one would daily drive that thing but I'm not a masochist. I had a set of NS2-R many moons ago on an m3 I think, perfectly useable in the wet, but like most of those types of tyres they need some heat in them to work which can be challenging.

Anyway, back to pictures of zeds :driving:

Yep, that is on the cards. For now I have bought 2 new Eagle F1 Supersports for the front. I might end up running a wheel set of these for wet (or potentially wet) track days and a wheel set of AR1/NS2R for dry days.

Btw... those sharknoses, GTR and XJR-8 are beautiful. If I had to pick one to drive it would have to be the Jaguar.

A day out on the moors now all the tour of Britain bikes are out of the way
