Your Zed looks tiny, sharing a shot with a so called mini.

I know! Still a lovely car though... it was really at home in the Elan valley and kept up with the convoy just fine.

Kept up. :? I would have expected a fwd 200 bhp car to kick the arse of the rwd brigade on roads like that. Even if is is a bit portly.

Same. But it was bone dry, it was a manual and the rwd brigade were two autos plus me.

You already know this, of course, but it’s amazing how good a B road weapon the Z4 can be with some tweaks. You just need to go through the apex of each corner at 3000rpm in second with your left foot over the brake. :driving: :?

Hah, well it wasn't too much of a stretch while remaining fun, but the M2 probably had the most experienced driver and was comfortably the quickest car anyway. Mapped to 420bhp+ and a better handling vehicle than the Z4M in nearly all circumstances - just not quite as enjoyable due to the refinement, noise, slight weight disadvantage etc.

Another pic to keep the Welsh dream alive...

Unfortunately nice though they are, M2''s come with one of those daft, stiff, water proof roof thingies. Not for folk like me that.

Roadster first, then can I fit inside, then performance/handling, then reliability, then looks, then brand, the gizmoes and other stuff realy don't enter the equation. :D :driving:

+1
Not really sure why there isn't an M2 Cab to be honest, other M cars come with a roofless option. Bloody bean counters no doubt! :headbang:

That is a good looking zed, I though it looked familiar but then again I could just be thinking of Marlon's!

First chance since getting the keys in January that I’ve had to wash, wax and seal it... comes up pretty amazing for 12 years old! Next task.....find some reasonably priced non-misty fog lights!

Really pleased with colour.

But better than the colour was my 40 mile round trip to Glasgow airport and back earlier today past Loch Lomond, Loch Long and the Clyde. Needless to say roof was down!
