............... Not sure about the m badge though.[/quote]

Mine had an M badge on the back when I bought it as well, where the Z4 badge should be. Some bloke on here had an attack of the vapours when he saw it! Afraid I can't get precious about it so it's still there at the moment. My only worry is that someone might mistake it for a 10 year old Z4M ... it's a far better car than that! ... Ask me how I know! ... :D

I wanted an M for some time and about 5 years ago I'd just sold an E-Type for a good price and wanted to replace it with something quick. I drove 2 Ms, one for a day and one for 3 days ... decided it wasn't what I wanted as a road car ... plenty of grunt but little comfort, crashing over every dent and cats-eye ... cornered well on the limit (I'm an ex-racer) and I didn't test it anywhere faster than Curborough where I was a racing school instructor, but I chose to buy instead whatever the best 'ordinary' one was called ... a 2008 3.0si coupe (can't remember the exact numbers) ... it was a better car for road driving. Not as quick, of course, with 270 odd hp. I can understand why people like Ms, probably the same reason I enjoyed the E-Type! Now I've got a 2014 top of the range 340 hp with auto/sequential/flappy paddle box and adjustable suspension for when you want some fun ... the old 3.0 coupe was marginally a better all round car than the M, don't get me wrong, the M was a fantastic car and whatever floats your boat etc. This one I've got now knocks them both into a cocked hat ... I can thoroughly recommend one to anybody ... in fact, if you haven't driven one - you should ... quick! ... :D ... Oh, and it doesn't bother me that it's got an M on the bootlid ... I don't really care for black wheels, black grilles, stubby aerials, noisy exhausts etc but I wouldn't tell people they shouldn't have them!

OK ... what do you use? I thought mine looked good but that is amazing! ... 8) ... best colour too!

Thank you!

I guess you mean as far as waxing/protection goes?

The picture above it actually has a layer of dust on top, was washed two weeks ago :)

the WAX that I put on it after a good wash was -; http://www.valetingproducts.co.uk/Fireball_Hydrophobic_Carnauba_Hard_Wax_Cherry_Scented_2_of_10/p388157_16630077.aspx

which in my opinion for the price is a great! and smells lovely.

and I've topped it up with a layer of -; http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-sprays/meguiars-ultimate-quik-detailer/prod_361.html

which really makes it look glossy/wet and the beading is amazing.

^ didn't realise trains had their own parking spaces, Rob :)

I'm not really a train driver (I'm a technical officer), I just invoke special bear privileges to park there :P
