Car hadn't moved since the Trossachs run 9th October
Only managed 1/2 hour drive today but hopefully get another spin tomorrow to somewhere more scenic!

Hi Rich,how are things?
You been busy working,or just keeping the z tucked away?

Things are good Craig, had a bit of a busy spell with other things and had our wedding last month.
How's things with you, when's the baby due?

If you were driving alone, best to reverse park in, so you can get that few inches closer to the hedge (and further away from those hated swinging doors of neighbouring cars)

Me nana was living in ormskirk til last month when she passed away at 101. Bless.
Here she is reading Hello magazine. 'They're all idiots!" She exclaimed, upon asking her who she was reading about. Class.

Enjoyed a nice long walk with the family on Boxing Day morning. Out across The Moss here at Mawdesley to the local wind turbines. An info board says that in a 22mph wind the blade tip speed is 125mph !

Now that's just sad. Walking and the wind turbine info :poke:

Nice shiny chrome pipes though

I know. I'm a sad case. I've got a load more wind turbine info I could regale you with if I had the time but I'm off out for a walk ! :D

Tried out my new topaz polish today in between the rain showers, it's easy to apply with no white residue on the black trim and buffed off easily for a lovely finish

Looking good Rob  - how did you apply the Topaz?

I got an autosmart sponge thrown in with my polish, I washed & dried the car then applied using the freeby sponge.
Really surprised at how far it went, waited until it had dried & it buffed off with no agro using a dry microfibre.
I don't think it's going to remove any swirls but it's left a nice wax coating that's beaded lovely now it's rained 8)
I'd say it was well worth the money

You've got a nice shiny gloss finish on the front section there Patriot  how did you manage that?

Cheers Marlon. :D It's so easy. On a cool engine spray a light mist of Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care on all the plastics and rubber. Leave it 5 mins, wipe off the excess. This gives a satin sheen. If you want more gloss then spray again but don't wipe it over. It's also great on any interior trim that you may want to rejuvenate, and makes your wheel arch liners look black and glossy too. A versatile and effective product. A trade 5 litre container known as Super Sheen on Ebay for £29 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Autoglym-Super-Sheen-5-Litres-25-Litre-/311067682159?var=&hash=item486d14256f:m:mZ4hKnpV63qQqjZTTqs9HkA
