Looks like a tricky job Rally. What wrap are you going for?

Dark blue brushed metal effect photos to follow hopefully

That's an intriguing choice. Don't think I have ever seen that before. Look forward to the photos. I went with the safe and boring option of carbon fibre. I found the wrapping itself is fairly easy and will take you a couple of hours or so to do the lot. The hardest bit for me was the curved plastic trim between the gear knob and the handbrake

All three of my cars have an "actual" DLH plate already thanks Marlon - one dating back to 1982 when I bought it as it was not only related to my initials but also to the "code" used for my submarine during the Falklands War. :)

Should've guessed - at least its got John looking :)
First thing I did when I bought the E89 and the Mini Cooper S was to swap plates. Keeping a 16 plate might have looked good for a short while, but I preferred a DLH plate.

Hey Dave, we were behind this Porsche today

Should've known it was you who bought that. Was eyeing it up myself

A sleeping fox catches no poultry Ben  it was there over a week at the lower price with still no takers :?
A legendary forum hoon car i couldn't see it go to WBAC

To be honest, I'd find it hard to part with my current Zed. Had it so long I've become rather attached to it  these cars are so great, for some strange reason

I had a little time to myself today whilst waiting around at work, so made good use of my 'lunch hour'...

Then I thought it a shame not to pop it in the workshop:

The inside of the wheels needed a clean, so a good opportunity to check the arches and springs

Yep, they look OK (discs only a little rusty from the clean minutes beforehand)

Wheels off and cleaned inside and out:

Perfectly even wear right across the rear tyres, but unfortunately only 3mm left, so a new pair of F1's due this week, prior to the MOT next weekend.

Putting the car back together and a check all over

And then rolled it out again after :

A good days work !

Marlon only had the style 32s on for 10 mins & already had a strange bloke taking pic of his car
