Nice
I want a driving pic like that one day.

Me too :driving:

If there's 3 of us then this place is on the industrial estate where I live, these were taken about 6 months ago

That - but I fancy hedgerows trees, blue sky and white clouds, maybe a quiet stretch of duel carriage with a good backdrop - tricky I know. Lady Marlon's good with a camera.

Theres also the industrial estate at Pimbo junction 2 off the M58 (im sure youll know it, plastic scouser..) Which is a dual carriageway in a loop all around the factories and has plenty of trees lining the road.

:D I only use the M58 to get from M6 to Ormskirk, but I know the exit - sounds good.

Well today i had a unexpected early finish just after 1pm so had no option other than head out where i knew there would be nobody around  the Bowland Fells :driving:

Nice photos Mr Wilks. I know that road well. Ali and I came that way in the opposite direction on a blazing, sunny sunday back in June. On the climb up to the highest point (Cross of Greet ?) we had to sit in a queue of traffic for 45 mins as the Air Ambulance was parked on the flattest part of the road collecting a biker that had come-a-cropper whilst descending  Got chatting with a few bikers and an old boy in a 1950s MG TF :D

It is pretty remote on that road so guess helicopter the only way for accidents
Have you done the full loop via Bentham , Quernmore , Abbeystead & Newton Bowland ? Takes you past Jubilee Tower which is always worth a visit any time of year

Yes I have been round that loop but only a couple of times. Great roads. Last time I came past Jubilee Tower was maybe 2 or 3 years back. That was a fine day and the view was great.

Get very homesick sometimes. Especially seeing photos of such familiar and beautiful territory!
