Pulled from the web this morning , made me look , look & look again , what a car for 60 yr old :driving: £1m tho :o

Gorgeous.
Well BMW have done it with the retro styled new mini, I reckon there be a market for a retro roadster

Gorgeous is the word, absolutely love it.

What engine would you put in a retro one Jim? M V8 for me.

Oh yes John it would have to have that V8 burble
Isn't it a pity they never did a V8 E85.

Arguably they did with the Z8 but out of reach of normal man and very limited numbers plus LHD, beautiful car. You're right though, a V8 E85 would have been quite something.

Little and large

Put a straight six in it with a couple of twin turbos and I would certainly buy one

I can actually see the same style lines along the side & humped rear arches as E85 E89

I agree Mr Wilks. Look at these two photos.

I am sure you can see the family DNA. At the very least Anders Warming must have studied the 507s lines prior to styling the E85.

Not wishing to upset the 85/86 brigade I do think the 89 photographs so well from almost any angle roof up or roof down
The space grey is a terrific colour with black bits added it really works for me
"smartbear" there is a almost identical car to mine on AT but 3 x less miles for around £11k iirc ?
Have another pic just to make your mind up
