Wow, that really is keeping good company. :o

I drove into the Cotswolds this morning in search of Harry Metcalfe’s favourite stretch of (local) road. Found it - the B4437, just north of Burford. Some pretty cool corkscrew-type turns.

I used to live in Woodstock, I'd drive out to Charlbury on the B4437, then out the other end on the B4022, then pootle along the A44 home. Sometimes taking a random spur and just exploring.

It was a good blast if you got it empty, a pain if you followed anyone! Be warned a speed camera van is sometimes tucked at the end of the straight that ends in a woodland area. There is also a tuning just before the woodland and cars have to nose out to see, so people just stop past the line.

ETA: One of the runs from this site used the B4022. Was fun to do as a convoy of 15 or so Z's!

First picture away from the drive today , to show a/ It does move and b/ the Eibachs make it ride nicer. Current wife drove out today with a grasp of the new nob and confirms it is nicer than the original. 80 miles or so later, I am still a passenger :| . Still first time she has driven it since the springs and geo being done and is also happy with the tweeks.
So, since we never stopped to take a photo, I went out solo after we got back and found a school field with an open gate
Quick in and photo and out before the groundsman noticed :D

Saw a couple of police bikes just as I turned off the A361 so thought I'd take it easy. Good fun at legal speeds on that road though.

Ah, nice one - will remember that. I was also taking random B roads but picked the road through Long Hanborough and it was properly Honda Jazz'd!

The B4425 to Bibury was also good but a bit too straight. For some reason there were a lot of Porsches, Ferraris and vintage cars out on that road today.

Interior view. These cars don't look half bad considering they were designed in the late 90's / early 00's.

Completed my first 1k miles in the car, with a blast across the NY moors.
The car is transformed with the CDV delete :driving:

Parked up in Tulle the Capital of the Correze Department. I didn’t notice the shop behind but as I’m getting on a bit it may come in handy in the future! 😉

That looks a bit like Simpson Motorsport premises?
Indeed  I'd call it a good spot were it not for their name plastered over the first car in shot :D
That said it's changed quite a bit if you haven't been there in a while.
Some extraordinary cars there as usual.

I viewed the photo on my phone so didn't notice/read the name on the car. It was the flooring that was the giveaway. :D
