Post Your Snow Pics!

That looks like some decent snow to play in, where ARE the snowmen? See if you can do an ice carving or a snow model of a Zed, full size of course.

Happy xmas

My drive to work this morning was ridiculous. We had quite a bit of snow last night! Would be interesting to see what it was like for everyone else. Here's my pics from about 7am this morning....

That looks like better snow than ours. Loving the shiny new car by the way. I'll give it a couple of years and I'll be able to afford one!

Not been particularly heavy in Liverpool, but it's been constant since about 5am this morning.

BTW my 'stubby' is no more as the standard one does a better job of maintaining a radio signal.

I can't even get my Z4 up my road! Snow is 6 inches deep at my house :(

So i went to work in my Dad's X5 today and hell even that was bad! The gritters haven't been out, the road was white over and icy at some points. And even that was slipping and sliding down the road with a mind of it's own, so much so that a bollard got flattened when it couldn't be controlled! No damage to the X5 though except a bit of plastic underneath!

I'm amazed at how they pop back up again when it got completely flattened
Might be an X5 job again tomorrow looking at it!

I bet the X5 is on normal road tyres though, and not winter or M&S (no, not the supermarket) ones.

I don't think i'll risk driving it tomorrow. It's caining it down with snow here! A few days after i started this thread and posted those pics, i had to abandon the zed 8 miles from home on my way back from work. Got stuck half way up a hill! It's really not designed for this weather

snowed quite bad in south manchester, especially in my back garden (see image below). Took 1hr 55 mins to travel 6 miles, Not good. No images of the Zed im afraid as i left it tucked up in the garage and took the CooperS instead..

Picking up the winter wheels with proper snow tyres this saturday, would have been useful to have had them earlier ...
