Post respray protection - clear films / other recommendations?

Evening all.

Having just had a respray of the M I was keen to learn of sensible protection measures as it's not something I can afford that often!

Has anyone got experience with the clear plastic films from the likes of Paintshield (various options covering different levels of nose, wings, bonnet)? Any thoughts on relatively cheaply was of providing stone chip protection to the front of the car would be appreciated.

Thanks

Noticed a clear film on a TVR at a show recently - don't know if this was standard fit but looking at the state of the front of other TVRs I don't think it is

It makes sense to me especially as it was virtually invisible except at the edges - which could be overcome by designing / cutting up to the panel edge

The clear film would have to be tough though - tear marks on that would look unsightly

I have used a ventureshield kit on my hayabusa several years ago after a full respray and have to say it works extremely well, professionally installed though and has helped keep the new paint immaculate

Thanks folks - I assume we're talking a couple of hundred quid? I'll get a few quotes for the options mentioned here and repost next week for future searches.

Z4M 2006 - Would you recommend the folks that fitted your Xpel?

Cheers

I'm going to get some of this after I get my bumper painted over winter.

Another alternative is one by 3M, but it seems more of a faf. Only recommended for 12 months from memory.
