Post-detailing pictures

These pictures show my newly acquired 28i M sport. Very much enjoying the car. In December it was detailed by Matt at Off Your Marks detailing; thoroughly recommended, he does a fantastic job.

These pictures were taken today having been washed thoroughly yesterday. Quick-detailed today to remove water spots etc using Sonax Xtreme.

I'm based in varying locations with work, but home is Liverpool. Matt/Off Your Marks are based in Warrington. The service he provided was £50+ cheaper for an equivalent from many London-based detailers I looked at. Very accommodating to last minute changes as BMW pushed back the delivery date and he was able to lend me a car. Top service.

Steven, I'm judging by the photos, this was the 'dear' detail you spoke of? Absolutely immaculate! The big question is, just how much can a detail transform the vehicle by? It must have already been in fine shape, did the chap speak of that atall?

Absolutely nuts Perry, thank you for sharing that. I personally do think it's worth spending the money on transforming your paintwork if you have such a passion for your car. That M3 should have rolled out the factory looking like that but the BM's do seem to suffer from orange peel.

I don't think it was in great shape before, obviously not a lot of defects (stone chips, deep scratches etc.) but it was pretty swirled, there's a thread around here somewhere.

Yeh the detail cost ~£700, but it was waxed with Zymol Royale. 8)

I must say, I am stunned as to the amount of swirling it had prior and what a job well done, these chaps certainly know how to restore paintwork! Just perfect Steven, a real gem.
