Possible Windscreen Wiper Problem

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how loud the click from the windscreen wiper solenoid is suposed to be? When on intermittent, the 'click' is about as loud as the indicator noise, and its starting to irritate me slightly, is this normal? I have 58 (old style) Z4.

Hi

I get the same click sound in my zed - its the relay switching on and off. Wipers work fine.

thanks, if its normal then thats ok, it seems loud though...
