Possible Wheel Swap

Hey guys .. got a new '07 Z4 3.0i at home now .. and am wondering if I can swap my 19" Staggered CSL reps from my e46 330ci to the Z4 and put the Z4 wheels on my 330 .. style 241

Any help is appreciated :)

Yes the staggered CSLs will fit on your Z4, what offset are they? People have been able to fit all the way up to M3 fitment offset ET +22 in the rear with minimal rubbing so if you have the 19x8.5 ET 40 and 19x9.5 ET 45 wheels then they will fit just fine. Are the style 241s 17" or 18" ? They might look funny on the E46 but they will fit for sure.

Thank you! They are the standard e46 Non-M Offset which I beleive is et45 9.5" in the rear .. the 241s are 18" staggered .. 225 up front and 255 in the rear I think .. not quite sure what they will look like on the e46 .. but it's worth a shot .. always up for trying something different :)

If I do wind up doing the swap I will post pics for sure :)

I have heard staggered set up will not fit on non M cars ??, is this right ???

Not sure why a staggered setup wouldn't work on non-M .. it came from the factory with staggered 18" .. 225 front 255 rear I beleive and my staggered 19" are 235 front and 265 rear .. and there looks like there would be plenty of room to fit that extra bit of width ..

The staggered setup WILL fit, you just cant fit the Z4M/E46 M3 staggered FRONT fitment on the Z4 non-M but the rears will fit with stock suspension.

It's the other way around. E46M front wheels would fit the non-M Z4 easily. It's the E46M rear wheels that have more issues going on the back of the non-M Z4; with stock suspensions, they likely wouldn't rub the fenders - until the moment you lower the suspensions.

But either on stock suspensions or lowered, it looks like sheit and ghetto as hell when the rear wheels stick out way past the rear fenders. Many people on the German Z4 forum simply fit 4 front E46M stock wheels on their non-M Z4.

I meant the E46M FRONT wheels on the FRONT of the Z4 non-M. Of course you can fit the FRONT (e46m) on the back if you can fit the REARS (e46M) on the Z4 non-M. But the fronts will rub for sure. And yes I agree the wheels sticking out is just dumb. I'm probably going to go with E46 Coupe staggered fitment.

Like I said, you can fit E46m front wheels on the FRONT of the Z4 non-M without a problem; it's usually the rear that have issues (when you mount them on the back of a non-M Z4). You were misinformed. Whoever told you the E46M front wheels would rub when you mount them on the front of a non-M Z4 is wrong. You can lower the suspension 1.5" from stock sport suspension and they STILL wouldn't rub.

Oh, wow I didn't know that, so E46M fitment fronts will fit as well? That's great news, I know the E46M Rears fit for sure because someone over on ZPost put a set of ET+22 19x9.5 on his 3.0Si on stock suspension without rubbing.
