possible to lower just windows with key?

So iv been dealing with not being able to open my driver side door from the outside for a long rime now. So I was wondering if its possible to use the key to lower the windows down? Enought to get my arm in there. If it helps I have a 2003 z4 3.0i. So is there a way? Maybe stick the key in the hole and press a button? I tried searching here but nothing in particular. :thumbsup:
 
With car locked,press the unlock button on your key & keep it depressed.After a few seconds windows will drop.Hope this works for you. :thumbsup:
 
Whats wrong with your door? Couldn't you get that fixed or is it irreparable?

The plastic inside the door handle that pulls the wire to lift the latch snapped from what I was able to figure out after removing the door panel. :headbang:

Nope. :thumbsdown: does the key have to be in the hole?I pressed lock . Then I pressed and held down the unlock button for 5 seconds but nothing? :?
