Possible to change to facelift back on prefacelift Z4?

Aside visual appearence the front cover is almost identical between pre and post facelift. All fixings and fitting are the same. There is just minor variation to the cover behind the lower spoiler, but of little concern.

Headlights are an identical profile between pre and post, but different wiring

Foglights are a different profile but use the same wiring harness and bulbs with out modification

Let me know if you have any specific questions as I've done this change.

I think highstream is talking about the rear bumper, which will require the tail lights being changed as well, but I dont know if it thats simple, as I dont think the lights are a straight swap

New rear lights are led based, so very different to the original ones. I have seen people change the bumpers and lights, but it always causes issues with the electrics which need to get sorted.

Oops - I misread the wording in the post header.

I've been encouraged to keep away from attempting a rear bumper and light swap for reasons stated by pvr

Personally i prefer the older style rear light got a more aggresive look to them remind me of a rattle snake with the style of the boot.
