Anyone who orders an M and removes the most expensive "included' extras for the cheaper versions need their head examined. Even if you did a swap to the metal or piano black ones, can you imagine how much money you could have made ...

I wonder if the aluminium part could be stained or lightly painted whilst retaining the texture to look a bit more gunmetal :? Could look really nice if done well.

Wasn't there someone on here who thought they'd found a supplier for the carbon leather? Anything ever come of that?

Hi just been reading the thread and I was thinking something similar for the Ali dash panels. I'm looking at having them hard anodised a gun metal colour. I've a couple of caliper brackets I've made and sending them of for anodising so I'll post up finished items. Probably a fairly cheap and long lasting finish.

is it hard to remove them without destroying? I'm thinking of painting my in the same colour as the car.....
