Crikey Malc talk about planning ahead.
Anything is possible but not even thinking past Islay and the possible Moffat meet in Oct at the moment, but never say never.

Nice route Malc and for me you did it the best way round.. Glenshee from the south always seems a better drive than coming at it from the North.

Every Z4 scotland meet for me usually starts with one of these two roads.... :driving:

For a club meet i would head noth from Ballater and through the Lecht across to aviemore then south.

Good minds think alike...

I've got a plan for an alternative to Skye next year - already mapped out in Googlemaps as soon as I returned from Skye. I'm aware several folk would be keen for a drive over the Belach Na Ba pass to Applecross: it just so happens there's a handily-located campsite and also a hotel/pub in Applecross, ideal for a meet IMO. Route is basically Stirling - Dunkeld - Blairgowrie - Glenshee - Ballater - Inverness - Belach Na Ba - Applecross - Belach Na Ba - Invergarry - Spean Bridge and south to home...

But I wasn't going to discuss that til next year! :D

Only problem is - the hosts at the hotel are Englanders, but the food is good. :D
It actually got a recommendation in the Sunday Times this weekend.

p.s. Mrs Malc has just said she would come, if I could get a room in the hotel.

I went up to Glencoe on Tuesday with my bro in law (in the DB9 and F430) and the roads are incredible. Def worth including in a future run!

Ok ok, the cars on Tuesday didn't belong to me, we hired them, but still good fun. Also had a 911 turbo and a WRC 400BHP focus   :driving: :driving:
