Possible group buy - folding roof covers

Hopefully not a daft question but is the 'Catch Lower Part' item on the OEM diagram (54340300391) included with the covers?
Just looking at mine and cannot see what the catch attaches to and there isn't one fitted. Anyone know?

Good question - haven't checked to see if there's one on mine so I don't know. Anybody else?

No probs at all - just to let y'all know I've paid for them, still trying to get competitive shipping sorted and am waiting for a couple more quotes to get back to me.

Cheers

Just had a further look and I'm guessing that item 3 (catch lower part) is somehow slotted into the recess under the 20mm x 70mm plastic cover plate. There's nowhere else that I can see.
Can anyone with roof covers confirm this?

Managed to sort out a courier for these yet? Not that i'll be able to use them anytime soon. Constant rain for the last 2 days and the forecast shows no sunshine anytime soon :(

I'm looking forward to them also, now seriously considering leaving them grey which I hope may complement the black roof & dark blue paintwork, if not good - black it will be. Anyone ever had them fitted in a contrasting colour?

Hi all,

Just an update for you. Due to the couriers working out prices based on volumetric weight (dimensions of package, regardless of actual weight), as opposed to 'normal' / dry weight, the costs are ASTRONOMICAL and a lot higher than first thought.

Consequently I have had to open a DHL Business account, under the premise that I'll be doing numerous amounts of worldwide shipping every month

The account should be complete tomorrow, which means they will be picked up on Friday (it is a public holiday in Germany tomorrow) to arrive on Tuesday/Wednesday in UK.

Thanks,

Moheddine

Fiver each from Germany? They are being sent to the UK in one big box. I've tried doing a quote based on the dimensions and weight given to me, and it is saying on interparcel.com that there are no services available?

If you need any help on this side of the water let me know. I am Germany based now and used the seller is suspect your using for my hard top in 2012. I have only returned home over the weekend and haven't logged in for a while.
