Hey guys, I did a quick search but didn't find a direct answer to my problem.
My Z4 has been in storage for a few months, but I have started the car every week or so and let it heat up and I have taken it out a few times for 15 or so minute drives.
Today I went to turn on my car and some strange things happened. Firstly, it wouldn't start; it made no starting noise or any signs of life (which leads to believe I have a flat battery). (Some details I can give is the car shows no sign of life i.e. the engine won't start and car doesn't beep when I leave my key in the ignition and open the door, my interior ceiling lights flicker, and none of the interior dashboard or radio lights come on with the auto lights besides a solid ABS light on the dashboard. Strangely though, my radio will turn on.)
Is this just simply a flat battery? I remember reading somewhere that you need to follow a special procedure when replacing a battery on a BMW, could someone link me to this? I just want to make sure there is nothing more serious wrong with my car as I've experienced no problems with it, and don't want to have it towed to the BMW dealership for something simple.
