Possible battery ?

Hi guys .
Recently my pdc has been acting up .
In the morning it gives a long beep and does not work
I get to work park the car and when I get back in the car pdc doesn't work .
I drive home and park the car and the pdc works fine no problem this has happened every day this week .
Today I tested my car battery after being stood for 10 hours and it reads 12.24 .
When I get home it reads 12.6 . The pdc seems to work fine after I have driven it but not work after its been stood . Just a thought is this the start of a bad battery ? .

It's around 50% charge (this isn't an accurate measure though) - which seems to be when gremlens come out to play in our cars.

It's worth trying to check to see how old the battery is and also if you have a drain. Have you had the car long and has the battery ever completely discharged that you know of?

You can replace the battery but if there is a drain then you should fix that first. Around £60 online for decent spec (I have a Varta E44 which I've been very happy with for about 2 years).

Sounds like a faulty sensor to me

I think it is the original battery . Also not had it the car that long .
I have done the sensor test and there seems to be one that doesn't emit a ticking noise but on my return from work the ticking is there .
I think the car was a weekend toy as not meny miles between mot etc .

If it is then £60 isn't much for a new one, it might just cure things and if it doesn't, you probably needed it anyway!
