Possible battery problem?

MY 2009 23i is now getting on for 8 years old and so possibly is the battery.
First of all I can't reset the rear brake pad warning service lights and now the iDrive screen is playing up by not opening, especially having driven today with the headlights on.
Elsewhere battery problems have shown themselves as air con problems.
Anyone have similar problem.

It will certainly start shutting down toys as the voltage drops, I have posted the shutdown sequence somewhere in a previous post. I can run a report through the Delphi system for you but I think you are a fair distance away from me? (The car keeps a rolling record of the battery status, which can be accessed with the right system. It shows % of time at predefined voltage thresholds)

I am on the original battery with 86k and the only obvious issue I have noticed is that if I pull all the windows up together, when they reach the top, the audio (CIC) stops for about 2 seconds, which I presume is due to voltage drop...

Yes, that should be 6 years old, but feels like 8!

Simple check of voltages shows nothing unusual. The top will open/close without effort engine off.
