On stock Msport suspension ?
oe alloys ( 326s or 296s ) ?
What size spacers ?

Hi Standard suspension 326 style wheels ….as big a spacer as will work cheers

12mm - 15mm will be fine & 20mm is doable but possibe rub with arch liner when hitting dips at speed or cornering hard with full tank - 2 passengers .
Visually on the rear E89 arches there appears masses of clearance but look & feel the arch liner & you will see they have a pronounced lip / edge that protrudes from the actual inside of wing . why it would be designed this way is anyones guess

My car is lowered and I'm running 12mm on the rear and I have no rubbing issues at all. A few others have mentioned 15mm can rub against the plastic liner and have had to cut theirs back. Don't forget to fit longer bolts and locking nuts too. You may want to run some spacers at the front. I did.

15mm rear on standard suspension should be fine with 255/30’s.

I tried 12mm front (perfect) and 20mm rear (255/35 tyre and lowered) and it rubbed a lot!! I even removed the arch liner and it still rubbed on something
