Nothing bad really...

I'm just wondering how on earth do you disconnect the positive terminal on the battery? It's right by the back wall of the boot, but it's got a couple of connections going to the same place and some big plastic cover over them so I can't really see how to get to the main clamps bolt. I see a large nut on the second connection there but it's not going to release the battery and it's not coming undone easily anyway.

I want to get my new battery installed whilst there's still light outside but my hands are freezing solid

Pull the red plastic cover upwards to open it, there is a nut underneath on a clamp that is similar to the one on the negative terminal, that is accessed from the top with a socket and ratchet.

The second photo helped me realise where the cover needed to flip open, simple once I'd done that, other than relocating the large "box" that covers the battery, the third threaded post just won't find the hole it's meant to go through, 2 out of 3 ain't bad
