Portugal vs France

As always the kids show us how we should behave
What it didn't show was the two other urchins sneaking up behind the French fan and picking his pocket while the one in front distracted him with a cuddle...

I'm not disputing his talent - he is outstanding. But he needs the maturity to go with it if he wants to be an ambassador for sport/football/kids, etc.
He needs to watch a few rugby players WALK off with broken arms, jaws, etc. Also I didnt see any of the other Subs over-stepping the manager in the Technical area. The rest sat on the bench. Why does he think he is above everyone else ?

And when you think EUFA complained about Ashley Williams, & Bale's kids being on the pitch after the Wales win, they need to have a re-think!

Nice to see Ronnie has made a remarkable recovery strutting his stuff at half extra time.
He's got a nice sympathy limp.

What a shameful display from Ronaldo.
Gets treatment, comes back on thinking he can play, decides he can't, then rather than walk off, he sits down and demands a stretcher, and cries to the world, looking for sympathy.

To then see him 45 minutes later, run on the pitch when they scored and jumping around in the technical area during ET, was a disgrace. He should receive a 6 game Ban. Complete To55er. I turned off when the final whistle went. I just couldnt watch the pr!ck lifting the trophy. :headbang:

EUFA need to start sighting players after the game for blatent diving and injury faking, when the TV clearly shows there was no contact.

Good tournament, won by the most boring team.

You've clearly never played sport in your life.

You honestly think Ronaldo was faking that? They clashed knee caps. That hurts massively and could cause major damage.

But yeah, he was obviously faking it and demanded to be substituted in the biggest game of his career.

It's obviously tempting to start throwing insults, but its probably wise not to :p

I'd prefer to hear from those above what Ronaldo would have to gain from faking the injury?

I don't think he was faking the injury - there's no way he 'wanted' to be off the pitch during the final...

...but I maintain that he didn't need a bloody stretcher....

Exactly my point. I never said he was faking an injury. If he thought he was well enough to play on, he was well enough to hobble off. His last tackle/header was inside the 6 yard box, but he walked to the middle of the pitch to sit down and demand a stretcher. Why not walk off at the nearest point and let the game continue.

He is a very talented player, but unfortunately also an attention whore. Bale spent the whole tournament saying it was all about a team effort, where as Ronnie seems to think its all about him.

PS Played sport all my life Ben (mostly football actually !)

He's the best football player in the world and he did take 2 bad knocks prior to going off maybe the guys commenting don't play football but the one tackle was really bad could of got a red in the prem. Players like Ronaldo get targeted and will get fouled a lot as their actually too good for the defenders players like Pele were the same constantly being fouled. Yeah Ronaldo moans a lot but so would I getting fouled like that all the time. If they don't foul him he will get past you so sometimes that's the only way to play against such good players. I'm sure if Ronaldo wanted to hobble off to make his injury worse and recovery longer he would have why is he going to be stretchered off there's nothing good in that and in a final too come on give the guy some credit.
