Portugal vs France

Oh goody. Another 30 minutes!!! Why not scrap the games (if they can be called such) and go straight to penalties.
With the added bonus that then there'd be absolutely no point England bothering to enter.

Nice to see Ronnie has made a remarkable recovery strutting his stuff at half extra time.
He's got a nice sympathy limp.

I enjoyed that, just won the sweep stake at work

Its also my birthday so ive possibly drink a little too much  :icb: :winner:

Nah... just got bored with the match and, seeing as I had no dog in the fight and wanted both teams to lose, I decided to have an early night...

What a shameful display from Ronaldo.
Gets treatment, comes back on thinking he can play, decides he can't, then rather than walk off, he sits down and demands a stretcher, and cries to the world, looking for sympathy.

To then see him 45 minutes later, run on the pitch when they scored and jumping around in the technical area during ET, was a disgrace. He should receive a 6 game Ban. Complete To55er. I turned off when the final whistle went. I just couldnt watch the pr!ck lifting the trophy. :headbang:

EUFA need to start sighting players after the game for blatent diving and injury faking, when the TV clearly shows there was no contact.

Good tournament, won by the most boring team.

He's a class player on the pitch yes he's got an ego that's why he's the best. He does loads off the pitch for charities he ain't all bad at all compared with a lot of selfish over paid footballers. If you seen the new Ronaldo film you know why he's like that on the pitch. You could feel his pain in the film when Messi kept getting player of the year. He comes across as a big baby or bad sportsman but he's just really a bad looser that's all because, he wants to win so badly. I prefer Ronaldo to prostitute shagging Rooney for sure. Ronaldo was always a legend now he's got the trophy to prove it. Pretty amazing being Portugal's first trophy he can now come to the Premiere league and everyone will love him again before he retires. Seems to be all working out right Man Utd return soon for sure

My clients are in France and Portugal and was sat in a bar in Spain with huge screen, so felt duty bound to watch. If that's top flight football I'm glad it's the only match I've watched in 20 years..

Still top result as my daughter scooped a basket of cash from the office sweepstake win, so we had to have a few in the bar..

The guys a cheat. 'He does loads for charity', yes and so do millions of other people without his massive wealth, there's a charity running on this very forum actually, check it out. Proper sportsmen and women win and lose with grace and dignity, not roll around like a spoilt child that's lost it's rattle. His football skills are beyond question, a phenomenal player, but with that comes a responsibility to behave in a correct manner to all the youngsters watching and idolising him, comes with the territory. All sports folk want to win, have a burning desire to, I did when I competed in swimming, but they don't throw the teddy out of the pram if they don't win, you take it on the chin and give it another go next time. This it's ok to behave like a tosser because someone wants to win is just plain wrong, you don't have to behave like that.

Maybe he should ask Gazza or Best for advice maybe not, oh what about England's record breaking hero cheating Rooney or even shag your misses wife John Terry. These are just people at the end of the day yes they have a duty to be seen as perfect but when s**t goes wrong then it looks worse I think when you have an image of an icon who is really fake at least he's being him. He's a great player we all know that. Watch his documentary film of his life and you will see another side to him. Guy actually just comes across arrogant on pitch sort of he's alter ego but off the pitch he seems pretty humble and a decent single dad tbh

Could'nt agree more with you on those other players, and a lot more than them besides. Ronaldo might well be what you say off pitch but it should'nt take a film of his life to demonstrate it, the vast majority of people see what you see on pitch, sometimes a cheat and cry baby when it does'nt go his way, at the very top level of sport especially you need to have the mindset to behave and act accordingly. It's a shame because his talent is all there in spades, and if he acted like he should he would have the respect of so many more and not have this dark image he has.

Just IMO.
