Portpatrick Help ?

Right folks after a bit of assistance, thinking of having a wee hoon to Portpatrick next week (weather permitting)
Could anybody recommend any roads in that area that are worth a blast
Tried a search on previous threads but found nothing :idunno:

As nice as Portpatrick is, I can't really recommend any great hooning roads in the area. The problem is there is literally one into Portpatrick and obviously the same road out it. I'd avoid Ayrshire in that like the plague unless you want to drive at 20mph everywhere because that's as fast as you'll want to travel on possibly the worst kept roads in the UK.

We did a run last March where we ended up in Portpatrick on the Willy Wavers meet, there is route somewhere in the 16 pages but I am about to go to work so haven't got the time to look for it at the moment and some of the roads we covered are well driving.

I found your Portpatrick thread the other day hopefully will include some of those roads in my next solo Hoon
Not too bothered about speed :wink: just wanted to see a bit of the area
