Got my invitation through today, ordered a new model a couple of month's ago and I'm on the Porsche pre-production system now, not that it means I'm guaranteed get a car unfortunately.

Been on the track day before when I purchased my 991S, it's only on the Porsche short circuit though.

Yep, got that invite as well. Never been though, what do you actually do on the circuit?

There is a hill 4X4 section you're driven around on which you nearly turn over (waste of time for me) then the short circuit (and I do mean short) which you can blast around. last time I was there I went b*lls out and felt quite queasy after a few laps. Then the skid pan which you can lose control it's not a bad 1/2 day nice food as well.

You should go around the circuit in the same car as you order :)

You should go around the circuit in the same car as you order, in my case it'll be a standard 991GT3 because my (hopefully) car hasn't been revealed yet

GT3 :fuelfire:

Is your invite for a months time as well? it's not a bad 1/2 day so worth going and you will always drive the same BHP car that you've ordered plus the same gearbox, I blagged a drive in a turbo last time I was there but even for our 395 bhp cars the track is far to short!!!

I'm going to give the 4X4 experience a miss this time but you being a fan of them may like it, I'm also going to try and get a drive in a manual 991S as well because I cannot believe how heavy the clutch was last time I was there, it may have been a worn item though.

Yes, it is next month as well. The rating on the "new" 991 is 400 now, not sure where the extra 5 comes from ...
