I took the GTO to Ferrari's Fiorano test track. How many Ferrari engineers does it take to fit the towing eye?

But it has a real privilege to drive it on its home track

And we even had some company (being a passenger in a 458 with him was amazing)

Good on you for dreaming. When I were a lad I had a series of TVRs - Chimaera 4.3, Griffith 500, Cerbera 4.5, similar in spirit if not reliability to an M perhaps, and over time as I got older and a bit more cash of course I began to realise the petrolhead dream in my own small way. After the TVRs came a 325i (yes I know, but it was a BMW), a Caterham R400, 996 GT3 (gen 2), Gallardo Spyder, Gallardo Superleggera, LP560-4 coupe, Murcielago LP670-4 SV, LP560-4 Spyder, 997 GT3 (gen 2), my wife's first Z4MC, a Juno CN race car, and a Radical SR3. Currently we have a 599 GTO, a 16M, another Radical (SR3 RS), and we've agreed the purchase of a Z4MC. I've started to tire of looking for the next thing and will definately keep the GTO for ever, perhaps also the 16M. These days I find myself hankering after older cars, and my wife often catches me browsing the web in search of an F40 or a 288 GTO. So I think the thrill of the chase is changing, certainly for me as I get older, but it never seems to go away!
I'll post up some photos of the cars I've had if I can find some. But keep on dreaming and keep on working hard, but most of all keep on obviously enjoying what you have too.

The 16M and LP560-4 Spyder at the top of the Grimsel pass just near the Rhone glacier (my favourite Alpine pass road)

Spyder again:

The 997 GT3 (gen 2) - the cup tyres don't work too well on snow, or they work very well, depending on how much you like to slide

The Murcielago SV - a very old school beast which I sold and then bought the 16M and never regretted doing it for one minute:

Keep posting those fabulous pictures, I had a few passenger laps around Spa in a 360 and my friends 911, a lovely circuit, I love standing by the pit wall and seeing/hearing the cars come past then going up eau rouge !

Aliv6, sorry for the delay in replying to you. I actually forgot all about this thread, however now that we have an audience, I thought it might be quite fun to carry this on.

With reference to your reverse psychology comment above, it's obvious that you don't know what that actually is and I'm pretty sure that if "reverse psychology" was to stick its fingers up your arse, you still wouldn't so try not to use big words again or you'll just end up with a sore bumhole.

As for saxoexperience, unfortunately for me I've never owned a saxo so haven't had the pleasure of visiting their forum although I'm sure they're all nice people. However it seems that your comments indicate that you think they're all prats purely based on the car they drive and us BMW drivers are somehow better... interesting as this speaks volumes about the kind of individual you are....
