Porsche Boxster vs. BMW Z4

My brother in law will testify that owning a Boxster can be a right pain in the a#se!
Having had an engine failure at 20k miles and just out of warranty .
Porsche have finally cracked and said they will repair it for free, but it was a close call otherwise it would have cost him 10k.
It was always his ambition to march into a showroom and order a Porsche, so even though it will all be repaired its shattered years of dreaming

As for my opinion of the Boxster, its not got an offensive line in the bodywork anywhere.....BOOOORING.

The Boxster looks odd in my opinion. It also does not have enough horses for my taste

I had a Boxster S for 3 1/2 years and it was a great car, better to drive than the 911 (964C2) that it replaced, neither are anywhere near as good as my Z4 M though, the power in these is just great......
also the build quality on porsches are getting worse, the interior is so tacky now, very reminiscent to a ford mondeo IMO
