Hi All,
Thought this might be of interest,
After my first long winded but rewarding correction on our Jet Black Z4 i decided the next car i correct will be over a weekend and not over months!
I started afterwork on good Friday with just the idea of giving the Boxster a good clean and maybe test out the 2 polishes I was sent some time ago.....
Wash Stage:
• Washed with Sonus Mitt and CG Maxi Suds
• Dust off roof with Shoe brush.
• Rinsed with filtered water from the 11L Resin Vessel and dried with CG Miracle Dryer (i know old habits die hard)
• Washed Arches and Wheel inners and outers using various brushes
• No Claying this session as recently clayed and still ok
Interior Clean:
• Vacummed Carpets and Mat
• Wiped over Dash and Door cards with damp cloth
• Cleaned and fed leather seats with LTT Ultra Foam Cleaner and LTT Ultra Protect
Correction Stage:
• Masked up boot and tested sample polishes.

Conclusions: Both polishes dried out pretty fast but didn’t dust at all...
Correction wasn’t very good and if i had to guess which had less oils in it would be sample A only because the
Mirco fibre squeeked a little more when removing the polish.
Back to the Task in Hand:
• After a little trial the paint corrected nicely with Megs G220, Sonus SFX-2 White Pad and Menzerna 3.02 Intensive Polish following up with the Red Finishing Pad and 85RD Final Finish where required.
Friday:

Tucked up for the night!
Sunday:

Before Swirls just visable

Seal and Wax:
• Sealed paint with CG Blitz sealant and a Microfibre
• Waxed with Dodo Supernatural and a Foam Applicator

My last sessions handy work...

My Favourite Final Shot......

Plastic Window Treatment:
• Polished Rear Plastic window with Hindsight Stage 1 Polish, Finished with Stage 2 Polish

Finishing Touches:
• Dressed Tyres with CG New Look Trim Gell
• Windows Cleaned
Total Time 12-14 Hours
UPDATED PHOTOS
Took a few photos after giving it a quick wipe with Z8, shame the sun wasn't out but hey ho..

And a few Beading shots

So 2 cars down Freelander togo! Hope you like it i just wished i took a few photos of the wash stage! Next time maybe..
Cheers
