First "mods" are done, got a stubby and fitted some LED side lights, they look very 8)

Hard to take pics of the LED lights but here are some of the better shots. These are the ones that work with no error light (canbus free), I need have to file them down a bit to make them fit but I think it was worth the effort.

The stubby is a must! Only thing i found with the side lights, is they flash every one minute when turned off. As they have a constant current which builds up and discharges every minute. Weird, and if yours done do this then

Have to say I havent noticed the flashing but will have a check, they look so much better than the stock bubs.

Gave the car a full bodywork detail today, Also off out to manchester for a meal tonight so I will report back on how the new bulbs perform.

Yep but what a car to move on to, love the Zed, always have.

Might have another MINI next month, will be an R56 Cooper S with one or two mods, but plenty more on the way

Must admit i was looking at them. Love the mini, and the cooper S seems very good. I park near a cooper works one, its grey and orange which looks cool.

Plus saw them at pod doing 12.9 1/4 miles!!! Crazy

I had a proven 268bhp, but then did a few other mods so maybe heading upto the 280/290bhp. It was fast, very fast, I had a drive in a 3.0si and even taking into consideraion the differance in the way the power is delivered it was not upto the JCW. I'm not saying the 3.0si is slow, far from it (it was very quick) just the MINI was stupid :D . However there was a price for all this, pipes blowing off and a new turbo.

The zed is very relaxing and we both love it, maybe go for the 3.2M in a couple of years???

Yeah after driving the Z4 i love it, and my next one will hopefully be a Z4M, and roadster again probably if i can get one :D

280 out of a mini is mad  , but thats why i almost got one

Will after my drive home tonight I can confirm the new bulbs are better, also moving the aim of the lights up has improved things too. Dont get me wrong these arnt ever going to be as good as xenon, but at about £14 a pair (shop around) I think they offer good value and a nice bright white light.

I give these bulbs 7.5 out of 10

I had the remote open/close moduel fitted today, its very cool and works everytime. Best of all it was only £20 to have it done by a local company and they did a great job while I waited.

Also added another layer of wax (after she had a bath)
