Hi All.

Im looking to buy a place soon, and considering putting the Z up for sale as the final bit to my deposit.

Had the car for 1 year exactly, and it was purchased from BMW Approved Used in Hindehead.

2006 (06 reg) Registered pre Road Tax increase, so full years tax is only £265

Just hit 38,000 miles.
I have only done 3500 miles in the last year, has mainly been used as a weekend car.

MOT is booked in for this weekend.
Tax runs till August.

Few subtle modifications including:

Black Grills
Stubby Aeriel
19" CSL Satin Black Replicas, wrapped in Vredestein tyres.
Yellow Stuff pads all round.


I waited ages to find the right z4m, reason I took this one was because it was full of every extra possible.

Sat Nav,
Heated & Electric Seats
Full Black Leather throughout.
headlight washers
bluetooth
CD Changer and Also IPOD Intravee hard wired.
Wind Deflectors
Rear parking sensors
Electric folding mirrors
Business plus sound system (its the top of the range one apparently)
TV module - Very important
autodim mirrors.


Im sure there are more extras and I cant for the life of me think what they are at present, I will add them as i think about them.


Paint work is amazing, I wash and wax this every weekend, using Zaino 3 different stages and it really sparkles.
LEather interior is spotless, not a mark on it.

This car has been truely loved and Im not in a rush to sell it, I will only sell at the right price.

I believe I am asking a fair price for it at £16,000.

Its a great looker but at that price you are right up with and against BMW AUC (see for example Croydon dealership) 8)
What is the warranty position on yours ?

That is a stunning looking ///M really liking the aggressive all black look. However as has been said above you're expecting a dealer price.

There was another similar spec, age, black ///M that sold on here in the last few weeks that went for £13k.

Unfortunately we're all experiencing the brunt of the market at the moment. At these prices I'm very tempted to move upto an ///M myself.

I am asking for a little extra, obviously there is room for movement, but im also not 100% sure about selling, however if someone offered me a price close to what im looking at I would probably sell.

UPDATE

The Major Service is not actually due till December 2012.

However this weekend I am carrying out an oil change and spark plugs change just to ensure she is still running smoothly.

I still intrested to hear any offers that might be around.

I'm currently looking for an Z4MR and fair play yours is a lovely example, loving the wheels they make it look pretty evil

I've been looking for a little while and the market seems to have dropped quite a bit for the M, which is great for us buyers but I do feel for people selling because the cars are worth a lot more than they are selling for. There was one one on Trader up until it sold yesterday with FBMWSH, 32,000miles for £13,695! There's a couple of lovely examples on Autotrader and Piston Heads with mileage in the low 20,000's for less than £15k. The other issue is it's just about in need of Inspection II which is another grand! If I'm honest I'd be looking at around £14,000 possibly a little more but appreciate that's not what your looking for and don't want to offend.

I'd keep it because they aren't many around as nice looking at this one.

I think most people will look and think its not far off Insp 2 and AUC cars are £15k so not alot more factoring in the warranty.
There was a Z4M that was very highly specced and same miles as yours which was 8 miles from me and up for £13695, it still took a fair while for it to sell....must of been at least a month.

Just have to be patient! Took me 6 weeks to sell a Civic diesel that was low mileage and the cheapest private car of the same spec out there (sold via ebay classified).
