Having her looked at on Wednesday. Loads of left / right wobble in the steering wheel at low speeds. At higher speeds (60-70), the wobble turns into a hideous vibration that can be felt throughout the car, not just the steering wheel. It's really pulling to the left too. Best and worst case scenario?

Could just be a sticking calliper. When I replaced my pads the sliders where all bunged up with crud. Could simply be a removal clean and a bit of copper slip. Or new discs pads???

Thanks, I hope you're right!

Fingers crossed buddy  are you taking it to a garage you trust? You haven't had any wheels off recently?
Next time you go for a drive check to see if a wheel or calliper is hot? If its a calliper brake issue it should show as heat build up.

Yeah, taking it to an indie I've used for years. I was wondering about a wheel weight too as it does feel like a wheel is out of balance... I did have my two rear tyres replaced just before the holidays.....

I'd love it to be one of those probs.....rather than something more expensive, like a suspension problem.

In my opinion 70% of the solution is wheel weight (for the vibration) and 30% wheel alignment (for the pulling to the left problem). If vibrations don't stop after wheel weight you should check wether your rims need straightening or not.Easy fix no worries
