Not tried PB black hole yet, gets good reviews tho. I've just acquired some HellShine Abyss which I'm hoping to try out when the weather improves...

I tried it a while back on mine and seemed to do a reasonably good job at hiding swirls.

See my thread again here: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=46362

Before and after pics are half way down.

That was purely a wash, black hole glaze, followed by Dodo Juice Purple Haze wax.

Need to give it a machine polish at some point though.

tried poor boys black hole on my old black EP3... but to be honest I actually preferred Turtle Wax colour magic. easier to use and has similar filling properties to black hole.

This is my EP3 just using turtle wax. Pretty mirror like...

Alot of people get hung up on brands when it comes to cleaning products... but I really rate Colour Magic.

I like PB black hole,it does what it says and fills swirls..Its an excellent glaze at a reasonable price..

I also like AG Ultra deep shine.....Its also a dark paint polish with brilliant covering ability,i actually think it might be slightly better than PB..

Just getting some products together before I start my first ever detailing there are a lot of scratches on the car just bought a DA and I'am avidly reading up on how to use it :grin:also joined DW for tips

Been using Black hole & poor boys Nattie blue wax on my black bm's for a few years with good results. Easy on & easy off last well.

Great to use & smell's good enough to eat :D mine is almost done but will be buying again  must use a sealer/wax after though

If you havent bought pads and compound i suggest go with the 3M system for ease of use...

I use Menzerna on Hexlogic pads....They work well but need some work on BMW paint..

Have you got Menzerna pads? I started with their pads but I found them to be pretty crap and on recommendation switched to Sonus, which have been great so far.

Hex logic pads seem to be the rave on dw. Need to get some compound and polish myself. Look forward to seeing the detail results!
