Poorboys Wheel Sealant

Just wanted to report in on the effects of treating my BBS CH-R Wheels (gotta get that in 8) ) with Poorboys Wheel Sealant.
Today was the first time i washed the wheels after the Wheel sealant was applied over a week ago. The wheels were pretty grimy after a few long runs out. With some soapy water the wheels came up clean in no time, in fact they were easier to clean than when the wheels had no sealant and i used the Wonder Wheels Alloy cleaner. So they do the job, make cleaning the wheels an easy chour.
The other advantage is that you don't have to worry about splashing the toxic wheel cleaner on yourself as soapy water does the trick.

Highly recommended!

I use that also. Great product. Is it still pink? Thats the colour of my Poorboys wheel sealant

I keep meaning to get some of this - how frequently do you guys find you have to re-apply it ?

Your front wheels are Protech treated, the rears are not (anymore) as I had 3 replacement sets for thos.

For the Non-Protech cars, I do that every 6 months (I use a product called WheelWax).

Every 6 months (Well that's what I want to say, but probably 9 by the time I get around to it)

Ok, that's a lot longer than I expected. Thanks guys.

PVR - I'll probably do all the wheels anyway. Whilst the paintwork protection could reasonably be expected to have at least 2/3 years life left, I'd guess it lasts much less time on wheels that are exposed to brake dust and wheel cleaners. Especially fronts that get properly dirty.
