Poor Radio reception

Hello all. For the past few days my radio has been terrible. Used to work great but now as soon as I am on the M25 it becomes very choppy and fuzzy. Help is appreciated on this one.

Press the FM for a couple of seconds. It will then auto tune to the strongest frequencies for the area where you are.
 
Today on the m25 every time the traffic news kicked in it was just like the old days of light programming and full of static noise......

Maybe just an age thing !

Well today I pressed the FM button and scanned some radio stations. Tomorrow I will know if it has made a difference because I am going outside of London.

If you are travelling a long way from the point you last scanned then you will notice poor reception and have to re-scan to local frequencies.
 
This morning I checked fuses 47 and 50 and both are ok. Does anyone know where I can the amplifier to start checking their? Anyone else experienced issues like this?

Help appreciated guys.
