Poor guy

how the hell did they do that ?

Well assuming no camera trickery that seems unlikley I'd put my money on a hydraulic ram swinging a platform up into place one the car has driven in an sunk. Pivot it through 90 degrees to horizontal just below the surface of the muddy water after the car has sunk and drive the 'test' car over.

Any better ideas, or the real solution

They sure go to some trouble replicating his Zed from I assume a scrapper and controlling it down a hill

The whole thhing is staged, including the guy who supposedly owns the Z4.

One second a face-lifted Z4 is rolloing down the road and the next second it suddenly becomes a pre-face-lifted Z4.

Indeed that was very funny. My guess is that the guy held his breath for a long long time  and the car had its tires filled with helium instead of air so it would not sink.

While watching this vieo I found this one. It's not so much the video but the transition between segments!!!

I'm leaning toward this explanation. How massive would that hole need to be to "hide" a car?
