Poor Boxster Drivers

On my way to work and witnessed a Boxster stack it into on-coming traffic on the u-turn section of the Hillingdon road. fresh looking silver '08 (not so fresh anymore). he applied way too much power and the Devil Ice caught him and he greeted a purple polo with his drivers door as he executed a stunning 180. dunno what he was thinking there was no way he would have been able to get out without that polo slowing even in the dry. I think he got impatient.

However my '06 Coupe with it's DSC-T was just fine and all the more prettier in the 3 inches of snow bestowed upon Uxbridge this morning...

Ooooppps - that'll be a cheap insurance claim NOT - and we wonder why we have to pay so much on renewal :(

The Z4 is hardly a snow warrior and is quite frankly the worst car I have driven in the ice and snow! The FWD 2.4 A4 has been the weapon of choice the past few days (cable operated throttle makes a world of difference and having the weight over the driven wheels).

I have seen some dreadful driving in all manner of cars; I particularly loved the woman who decided to wheelspin out of a side road 20 yards infront of me causing me to stop in amazement (thankfully I was idling along in 1st) whilst she thought full throttle was the solution to not moving anywhere - special! I hope she can lip read :headbang:

It also amazes me the 4wd crowd love their newfound ability to lord it over lesser vehicles and forget that whilst they can get moving easier and have more traction, stopping 2 tonnes on ice is still down to the laws of physics - :headbang:

aye, i have seen some proper retards on the road in the past few days. completely gobsmacked that these people are actually allowed to roam free in society given that they cant even control a basic motor vehicle

Im sure theres a few other forums going on about poor BMW or Z4 drivers too so dont be so smug buddy.

Last snow fall i was watching a Z4 try to get up this shallow hill with a nice layer of ice and snow.... snaked for about 2-3 minutes before ramming the rear wheel in the kerb and stopping.......

Was he poor or just unlucky?

Cheers
