Hi guys,
I have a 3.0 Si Coupe running staggered 19" CSL reps, Toyo Proxes and 30mm Eibachs.
Since I bought the car she has always pulled to the left a bit and whilst driving the steering wheel 'fidgets' quite a bit.
Convinced it would be the tracking I just had the wheels aligned using a Hunter system.
This hasn't cured the problem however and the technician pointed out that the front wishbones rear bushes have some play in them, which might be the cause of the problem and recommended repacing them with Powerflex ones.
I have been aware of Powerflex and the supposed benefits of replacing polybushes for some years but never had it done to any of my cars.
Before I order some, does anyone know whether I need the 60mm diameter or 66mm diameter bushes? My car is an 07 Si Coupe...
Once I have had it done I will post up re the results in case it helps anyone having similar issues.
Unfortunately the technician pointed out that one of my front tyres also has a bulge in the sidewall, so looks like I'll need to get a new boot on too. They've only been on the car two months too, damn pot holes...
