Pollen filter

Think you will find it behind the glovebox, drop the glovebox out and look for the cover that comes out at the bottom, take that off and filter can be pulled down and out.

I think its 3 screws and the panel comes down, but you do end up ready to play twister! BMW charge a pretty penny to change it
 
Make sure get a Mann filter, I tried a Valeo it didn't fit well! Sent it back and got a Mann which is original equipment.
