Wanting to replace mine, but looking at AUTODOC there are a number of different sizes available which all state that they are compatible.

What is the correct size for the e85 3.0 si?

ECP seem to state sizes. Just put my reg in (pre LCI, not sure if theres a difference with Si but doubt it), and has measurements shown. This one is Bosch but they also had cheaper makes on the site too - Mayle, Mann, Crosland.

Similar to the Bosch one here at least

I bought the Bosch one, but from Amazon for £23. Autodoc had £8.50 shipping so was way out price wise despite the discount %

When did these things get so expensive I paid £44.71 in 2019 for a pollen filter direct from BMW and now they are £72.50 how on earth have they gone up by nearly 60% in just over 3 years its just paper and a sprinkling of activated carbon.

That's ridiculous for a pollen filter!
I buy air filters quite a lot (for commercial a/c and vent). I can buy a box of twelve 600mm x 600mm x 30mm for £72.00.
If I could get them made with the correct frame for a car, I could make a fortune re-selling them and they would still be cheap! :)

Opie Oils sell Blueprint cabin filters.
I've used Blueprint parts for years and never had an issue.

Here's a link to one for £12.95

There's also one on there for £9 odd but no charcoal in it by the look of it.
