I am very weary of where I park though! I try to park as far from people as possible, as it seems everyone is so inconsiderate with their doors...

My process is different:

Are we taking the dog?
Yes = daily car
No = Zed.

Now that we have moved very close to my work I take any and every opportunity to drive the Z4.....but experiences shows that a large border collie in the passenger seat does not a good companion make (he did enjoy the roof down but thought the world was going to end when it closed shut).

Managed to get out today as the wife thought it would be a great idea to have a day in York. Shopping that is.

8 hours later 3 hours of which was stuck on the A1 doing 10mph at best due to a petrol tanker catching fire on the A19 causing an almighty traffic jam on every other road around for miles and my wallet some £250 lighter for the trouble, think I prefer to not get out much
