I was surprised that nobody commented on my choice of wheels in the "Zed Colours: ///M Interlagos Blue" thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=62253&p=1016920#p1016920 so I thought I'd run a poll. The wheels were for sale for months fitted with almost new P Zeros but remained unsold (perhaps for obvious reasons). Eventually the vendor reduced the price until it fell to significantly less than the cost of the tyres alone and I couldn't resist any longer. So, it's a simple question - what do you think? I bought the wheels to use with soft compound semi-slicks for track days, so if everybody hates them, my excuse is that a yellow sidewall is used in F1 for the soft compound tyres, so I'm just following their lead :P

You missed an option – "They work, but the yellow line is questionable" :P

Taz, I think on a black car any yellow stripes might look a little like a bumble bee :P
You're right Bing. I had intended to remove the yellow line and either paint it black or perhaps polish and lacquer the rim, but it's starting to grow on me. I wouldn't park it next to my boss's car looking like that though! I think they look more aggressive than silver wheels and all black would be lost on a blue car, so these will work well as track wheels. At least only one person has branded me a chav so far
These were originally on a Dakar Yellow Z3MC that had a matt black wrap. The new owner wisely stripped the wrap then decided he wanted wider wheels with deeper dish. I think that the wheels would have looked better on his car if the were all black and they would have quite probably sold much more readily too.

Oh dear, a third of people now think I should be making doughnuts behind McDonalds

I'd paint em anthracite - nice wheels in the right colour

I'm not sure about any dark colour wheel on a blue car, but I'll certainly consider it if opinion continues to follow the current trend :D

That strangely works, I'm feeling the f1 look, but you need some tyre black/shine on to get full effect :)

At least you got some decent rubber with them
trackday set they work , day to day i'm not a fan
To ordinary for a M car

Granted that does look good - I'll take some more photographs and consider testing my painting skills
