You can vote for 2 rims.
I think that might give a more balanced and meaningful outcome, given that certain rims are almost certainly going to get a vote.
I have created a pic of all the rims in the same order as the vote number and style number.

PLUS, PLEASE READ
Would you buy one of these. That's what the vote is about. Would you risk all and choose to have these on your Zed.

Yes, I was hoping that would be considered when Zedders were making their vote.
I really like the 326M, but even on ebay today, a broken one will set you back £200 min plus refurbing.
Then there is little chance the refurb will match your other 3 rims precisely.
My 325M rims are 18", and whilst not quite as glamorous as the 326 19. But it unlikely I will break one
on our roads in Dorset, and the odd road trip to Devon. I am sure some of their pot holes would qualify
as sink holes.

If you want 19" rims best to get some reputable aftermarket ones to avoid issues with cracking. I have the same dilemma I like the ride with my 18" rims but I know 19" rims will look so much better, not sure how much worse the ride will get especially that I am considering getting the Bilstein B12 kit. Not that any that matters right now because I haven't got the funds to spend on those things just yet. So I'll stick with my 18s :driving:

I think if you had not seen 19" rims on the Z4, and the norm was the 18" Star Spoke, you would be completely happy.
I am thinking the same thing. Find an alternative set of 19" rims. Trouble is, the 326M rims are actually really nice looking rims.
Probably a good idea to start a suggestions thread.

What about a button...no thanks I prefer 3rd party alternatives...?

Or another button...no thanks I prefer CSL/Y spoke alternatives ?

The 326M are nice rims but I actually prefer the 296 which is one of the two that I voted for, saying that if I was to change rims I'd go aftermarket something a bit different. Problem is some of the better looking not to common rims are big bucks!

I heard a rumour the 326M rim was improved by BMW in 2012. I have not been able to substantiate that claim though anywhere though.
Hopefully, someone else might be able to offer a little clarity and how to identify model/part numbers if that is true. It would make sourcing used rims a little safer. Seems a refubished set is going to cost around £1500.

The 276's are available in 19", a couple of people on the forum have just bought a set brand new for just over £500. Terrific value and they look great in 19" form I think.

Hi, yes, you are right. The 276 design appears to be available in 17", 18" and 19".
However, I checked each of the brochures, and only the 18" appeared as optional equipment for the Z4. Alternative sizes were for other vehicles in the BMW model range.

Nice rims. They make a good strong winter rim.

The offset aka ET number is a key factor..the E89 has especially on the front a smaller ET than other BMWs..so it’s not just the wheel diameter / rim width

I bought a new set of 19 276’s today. Both sites shown below are listing them as for E89 only not for other models

Right offset for E89 19’s too - exact same offsets as my current 296’s

So I thought my car had 326M but after looking at this thread I've realised I don't...

Anybody know what style these are?

You’ll find all BMW wheels and info about them in here

Hi, yes, sorry, perhaps I should have said, only the 18" version was ever listed as an option in the brochures.

I downloaded all the original brochures from 2009 through to the last one. I then listed all of the alloys you could order with your new Z4 from the original options list. So, whilst you could order other sizes and other rims from their parts dept. they were not something you could order from factory with your car. Now, I am sure someone, somewhere in the world is likely to find a brochure with a correction, but that was how I formulated the list. So, not suggesting these are not designed as an alternative rim (and a really nice one too), just not all the sizes were in the brochures.

Really nice rim though. Super easy to clean too. No fiddly corners requiring toothbrushes etc.
Good to get a photo of the 19" fitted to an E89.

I’ll get a photo up when I get them on. Lockdown for me will mean it’ll be a while right enough.

The easy to maintain and clean was one of the major factors for me. Its currently sitting on 296’s and they were my wheel of choice before I bought a car but all the stories of cracking and the standard of Argyll roads made me buy the 276’s when I could get them at that price. Almost as cheap as a full refurb on existing wheels
