I think it would depend on the color of paint.
On the black it looks ok.
The white is horrible and same on the silver, but if it makes you happy, screw the crowd.
So I voted jury is still out. Or what ever it was.

Oops don't really know what happened but tried to post that although I voted for jury's out for me I don't like how the bonnet line which runs into the the front wing is diluted.

Wow, it was neck and neck and then the 'no-no' voters seem to have surged ahead overnight.
Maybe our American friends have some ideas about taste and decency after all!
:exitright:

Just voted no but not massively anti.
Out of interest how are they or what are they attached to?

I think they're glued on somehow. I should imagine they might come with some form of 'lip' to hook onto the top surface of the headlight plastic from ones I saw for the E36 coupe.

Nice reduction in light output too, being cut off at the top right where you want your beam to project further to see the road...

prevents oncoming dazzle though

Forgive me for being selfish but I'd want more light for me and most other cars are higher than a Z4 so there shouldn't be dazzle unless the lights are cockeyed.

Hmmm, interesting!
Level pegging at 7 votes a-piece for yay and nay.
Was expecting a landslide in favour against but i'm pleasantly surprised!
Lets see where we get to on the voting by the end of the week however......
:?

Voting has certainly swung a lot since this post.

Not for me as it detracts from a key part of the front design being the 2 main cross lines of bonnet, wing, headlight and top of bumper cover.
To illustrate look at recent Jag XE, some Volvos, etc. and see how the lines jar

I can see on a car with the right colour, mods and clear lenses that it could work from some angles.

Bottom line if you like it, try and if it doesn't work, easy enough to just peal off

No no no :o Just put one on your push bike Chris and get it out your system :poke:
Hahaha
Well i put some tri-bars, a phone mount, Wahoo display and a top tube bag on the bike already. Possibly over-accessorised but it all performs a function. There's no room left for brows sadly! But my crash helmet though, hmmmm...... *rubs chin*

Well. Think the results speak for themselves dont they?
Its a resounding no-no. So be it.
Thanks to all who voted or chipped in with an opinion!

It's your car though, if you like it, why not. And they're removable.
well, was only toying with the idea really.
thought it could have looked ok but i'd prefer not to get scoffed at by other z-owners tbh.
possibly the reason i never put brows on my other beemers. who knows? the nose knows, that's who knows :P

Actaullly that's a fair sentiment. if you run a poll and 70% of responders thinks it's a dog, then that's probably what most people see when they look at your mod, however much you think it's a swan
