Here is a list of possible themes for a themed monthly photo contest. Some of the choices will need to be further defined if selected. The last time we had a poll the winning theme was “Moon Light” which won with only 16% of the votes. While that may or may not have been a representative 2nd or 3rd choice I have configured this poll to allow 3 votes for your top 3 choices. I have also added “No Theme” for thoses that would choose to not have a theme contest. Once we have decided upon a Theme we will then have a discussion as to which months the Theme Contest will be. August will be the earliest possible month. You will notice there is no theme for “Motion” as it was decided the last time we had a poll that motion could become a safety issue and it was removed from the poll.

Number one should be renamed 'Planking' for most unusual place to photograph a Zed... unless you want to add this as nos 15
 
The more technical suggestions may limit this to those with the equipment and technical skills ( :roll: )..... just a thought.
 
This poll is now concluded. As there was 3 votes per person a total of about 21 board members voted which is less than half the votes we get for a monthly contest. I read this as a lack of interest in a theme contest.

But we get more votes than entrants, so not too surprising. Give the sunset/sunrise theme a try and see what happens. The worst that can happen is we all say pfft!, and go back to as we were...

Good luck finding a fecking sunset or sunrise worth photographing in the near future :headbang:

But, I agree... Or re-open the vote and re-advertise... Reckon from comments above that it needs a daily bump for a few days - if that's not a pain in the ass of course :?
 
I can't reopen once it's closed however I will post another poll later tonight. I was away much of the time this poll was up so it did not get a daily bump which I will try to do this time if it is not getting bumped by posts.
